How long have you been in business?
We have been in business for 20 years, specializing in both photography and videography. In those 20 years, we have devoted mainly to wedding, event and Bar/Bat Mitzvah photography to enable that highly professional and artistic album, pictures and video are delivered to our customers. In those years, we have fine-tuned our craft so every customer has a very positive experience with Bob Rothman Studio. Most of our customers are referrals from satisfied customers. We believe every customer is special and deserves the best service possible.
How do the photographer and or videographer dress? The photographer/videographer dress appropriately for the occasion, and in many cases wear tuxedos.
What type of equipment do the photographer/videographer use? Top of the line, professional equipment constantly upgrading to keep up with the change in technology. Back-up cameras are a must; professional flash and lighting when necessary.
Does the photographer/videographer have back-up equipment? It is very important that a professional brings back-up equipment. Various things can happen -- equipment can drop, malfunction, or even be stolen. All our photographers and videographers bring back-up cameras, lights and flashes should the need arise.
Do you shoot film or digital? We shoot both film and digital, whichever you prefer. If you prefer film, we can also digitalize the images, so you will have the best of both.
What style of photography do your photographers take? Our photographers are trained and highly qualified professionals who shoot traditional, candid and photojournalistic styles. They have many years of experience shooting weddings and events and use only state-of-the-art equipment in order to provide you with the very best product.
Is there a limit to how many pictures the photographer will take? No. He will take as many pictures as necessary to make a complete photojournalistic, candid and formal presentation of your wedding. Plus he will take any requests that you have and more.
How long will it be before the proofs are ready? As soon as we get the film/digital files, we start processing. It takes anywhere from 3 to 4 weeks to have each picture custom made.
How long do formal pictures take? We set up the time with you on our Info Sheet, and we discuss everything with you beforehand. We try to make it at a convenient time and location. Formal pictures generally take three-quarters to one hour, depending on amount of people, bridal party, locations, requests, etc.
Where do you go for formal pictures? Depending on the location of the hall, there are numerous places where pictures can be taken. Most people prefer to take formal pictures in a park setting and at the reception site . We will go wherever you prefer.
Do you offer references? Yes, we will gladly give you references from past customers who you can contact.
How do I find out about your services? You come in to the Studio for a free consultation. At that point, we will show you samples of our work, answer all and any of your questions, and we can put together a custom-made package. We will be happy to help you in planning your wedding, and we will even try to help in other areas not pertaining to photography or video if we can.
What types of pictures--black and white, sepia, digital, splash of color--do you provide? We provide all of the above and more. When you come to the Studio, we can show you samples of what there is to offer. After the wedding when you make up your finished album order, we can show you samples of the different layouts as well. Each album is custom-made to your liking and should reflect your taste.
How do I design my album? You will sit down with a member of our Production Department who will help you design your album. They have many years of experience in the layout and design of our various albums, and will gladly help you select the perfect pictures for your finished album. |
